Wonderful Lang Co Bay – real tourist trap in the Central of Vietnam

Hue Travel in Vietnam

• Emperors Tombs:

There are several tombs of ancient emperors scattering along the Perfume River: such as Minh Mang, Khai Dinh, Tu Duc, Dong Khanh, etc. On Cam Khe Hill, Minh Mang Tomb was built in 1843, with the area of 18 hectare, 3-meter-high defended wall, and nearly 20 architectural constructions. Lying in the middle of a pine forest, Tu Duc Tomb belongs to Duong Xuan Moutain, 8km far from Hue.

• Pagodas:

Featured in various songs and poems, Thien Mu Pagoda has become an essential part of Hue City. With the symbol of the octagonal 21-meter-high tower, the pagoda is the perfect combination of artificial architectural work and picturesque nature.

Tourists can also visit other pagodas such as Tu Dam, Tu Hieu, Huyen Khong.

Phu Quoc is running out of hotel rooms

In recent years, Phu Quoc has been becoming one of the most favourite tourist destinations in Vietnam. This leads to over demand for hotel rooms that this island will need around 3,000 new hotel rooms in the next two year.
According to Le Minh Hoang, Director of The Kien Giang’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the average number of tourists to Phu Quoc in the beginning of this year was 38,000 tourists. At the present, this rate is nearly doubled to approximately 70,000. However, the number of hotels room is far below this demand, with only 2,900 rooms, including 600 high-star rooms.

Explanation for this booming demand might thanks to the open of Phu Quoc International Airport last year, as well as the excellent services of the hospitality industry on this small but beautiful island. therefore, Phu Quoc need built many hotel in there such as bring good things to visitor when travel in Vietnam.

Hoang also reveal a plan to open sea routes connecting Phu Quoc and Thailand and Cambodia to attract more international tourists to the island in the near future. Additionally, an air route Phu Quoc – Thailand is being proposed to the Government.
By the end of this year, there would be three new hotels, with a total capacity of 200 rooms. However, this seems to be still inadequate compare to the increasing demand.

Japanese investors planned to build 100 hotels in Vietnam

In a recent meeting on 22 February 2013 in Hanoi, The Vietnam Union of Friendship Organization (VUFO) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) are in corporation with Tokyo Inn Corporation (Japanese) to discuss on a huge project of building 100 hotel in Vietnam by Tokyo Inn. Tokyo Inn was established in 1986 and is processing the largest chain of 3-star hotel in Japan based on the number of rooms with 243 hotels and 47,468 rooms along Japan.

Nishida Norisama – Chairman of Tokyo Inn states that the corporation aims at building 100 hotels of medium level (3-star) in Vietnam in attempt to bring to guests “Assurance – Comfort – Cleanliness – Competitive Prices”. After launching this chain of hotels, Tokyo Inn would be responsible for maintaining and use a part of these hotels as medical centre and police office to contribute on the development of local province. evident this move of tokyo will be help visitor international  to have space comfortably when travel in Vietnam.  

Japan is now one of the most important partners of Vietnam, which is the second biggest trading partner (after China) and the second largest exporting market (after America). Annually, Vietnam receive more than 400,000 Japanese tourists and there 17,000 Vietnamese workers and 3,000 students currently living in Japan in return.
